How to end school murders written by Gloria Poole,RN,artist,Springfield Missouri

I, Gloria Poole,Registered Nurse/artist/author/illustrator/cartoonist /photographer/U S citizen/white/unmarried /woman wrote this this morning after reading Congress's ideas. My first thought was to email it to everyone but I thought first make it known publicly so others can talk it up. Saving the existing children in these 'united"states is almost as important as ending the mass murders of humans in the womb. Any nation that methodically assassinates its children via any technique, ritual, method, has no future. Here are my ideas on what we as a nation must do now to end the planned assaults on the nations'schools by anarchists, communists and anti-self-defense looneys.

My ideas for ending mass murders in schools, written by Gloria Poole,RN,artist,Springfield Missouri:

have only one entrance/exit into school and position armed, trained Police officer at it.

Bolt with deadbolt all other entrances.

Use metal detectors at that entrance for anybody seeking entrance.

Arm all teachers and administration and teach them to shoot straight.

Put bullet proof vests in classroom' closets.

Use surveillance tracking of whereabouts of anybody who enters school space, whether playground, service entrance for trucks, front door.

Require manufacturers of backpacks to put a bullet proof shield in them so students can cover themselves with them.

Teach students how to fight back [not hide under desk where they're visible!]

Research all students' backgrounds, see which students have violent tendencies, and red flag them.

Hold parents responsible for activities and actions of minor children.

Put "panic button"with direct link up to Police Dept on teachers desk that don't require teacher to say anything, or call 911

Put direct link up to S W A T law enforcement for every teacher .

U S Dept of Justice to authorize "shoot to kill"any invader who enters school grounds with assault weapons.

Create an instant pop-up shield on every student desk that encloses student with bullet proof armour.

Hold schools accountable [not taxpayers] for schools that fail to implement these measures.

Require News media to label anyone who kills another human with premeditation as a "murderer"/ criminal/ not as a 'shooter". Shooters hunt ducks and birds and geese and deer and are labeled hunters. Words matter!

Require electronic game manufacturers to remove from all games the playing concept that "killing is sport"or "legal"or "fun". Require game manufacturers to obey the law and not promote sedition or mass murder.

It's insanity to think that it would be possible to prevent anyone in U S from getting a weapon. Creating laws to prevent use of weapons only influences the LAW ABIDING. Those with plans to murder are not law abiding and would not be deterred by idea of "breaking the law". I can personally attest that there is a double standard of law enforcment in these United States in which the so-called "law enforcement" protects the murderers and not the innocent, nor prolife citizens.

Also, I am posting something I drew quickly trying to see if I could design a University of GA brazier and an elegant table top cooking pot. I am posting it here even though it is not related to my topic because some groups think I am not the same woman who creates art and posted it on web for 15 years. However, I am the same woman who creates art, writes poems, draws/sketches/paints oil paintings/ cartoons/doodles/photographs and I am the same woman who survived four violent attacks on my life at the hands of the man I was married to at the time, who got a wink wink get outa jail free card courtesy of immoral and illegal "law enforcement"in Colorado [in 2007]. I am divorced from that evil man [DBP] since Oct 2007 and the final decree was certified in Arapahoe County Colorado by the presiding Judge who also told that wannabee assassin DBP to pay me monthly [judgment of one million against DBP] since he destroyed my nursing career and ability to earn wages and caused me permanent injuries. However for the record DBP has never paid me a cent and got away with it by bribing District Judges in Colorado with $300,000 to prevent prison for him as spoken by his male lover in yr 2007.

It is necessary to do this for several reasons: there was a well-orchestrated effort last week to totally annihilate me from the web and to steal my landline telephone, a cell phone number of mine, and there was a fake obituary that was sent to Google to try to fool the world about me. I am alive and well [except for the permanent damage to my physical body from trauma on 2 occasions]. I am adding this here today to document that I am alive and well, and still very much active on web and in other ways. I photographed this in my bathroom so I could use the mirror to see the push button on other side of camera, and forgot I had a towel over the door! And that white streak is where I wiped mirror first but didn't realize til photo that threads got on mirror. I often look very red in summer because I walkabout a lot in the sunshine. I, Gloria Poole, [Registered Nurse/artist/author/writer/prolife provocateur/photographer/ white/ twice-divorced/ Christian/ woman/mother ] tried to think of a way to stop the trend nationally of killing one's self. Suicide is NEVER the answer to any question you might have. I realized that according to research people contemplate suicide when they think they have been left behind by the world or have been rejected by the mainstream because of injuries [for instance military veterans], or when they feel they just cannot compete because of so many odds stacked against them and hopelessness and despair sort of get a grip on them. I sat down early this morning to draw a cartoon and I didn't really have an idea, so I decided I would think of a cartoon. I draw cartoons some times, not often but when I do they are very simple, and to make people smile hopefully. This cartoon is a good cartoon to remind people that even when you are the 'slow one" , or the cumbersome one, or the funny looking one, or the one the world laughs at because you are obviously dealing with some physical problem, then remember this cartoon and the childhood story. There are so many worldly things that simply do not matter. Don't get distracted by them--keep your eyes on the finish line and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Slow and steady often wins the race when fast and furious burns out or stops to lolly-gag with every distraction along the path. In the HUMAN RACE, the "finish line" is HEAVEN. You ultimately want to get to heaven because that is where GOD lives and it is described in the book of Revelations but you need not be in a hurry to get there. Take your time. Eat slow food. Walkabout when you are discouraged. When you feel such overwhelming despair don't give in to it--postpone it--say I will think about that tomorrow but today I have to draw this cartoon, or load the dishwasher, or cut the grass, or buy food, or pick flowers for the school, or buy somebody lunch, or wash my blue jeans, or photograph the birds, or teach myself piano, or ________________ [fill in the blank] whatever will distract you from bad thoughts. Thoughts are not your Master. JESUS The Messiah is your Master, or should be. I also have physical disabilities caused to me when the man I took wedding vows with tried four times to kill me and then divorced me for "going to the library without his permission" [in 2007 in Colorado]. I did not contest the divorce,and divorce is final since Oct 2007]; and I survived much physical trauma. But I have permanent injuries of concussion that did permanent damage to my balance and brain, and metal screws and a plate in one leg from those injuries. I tried to honor the Bible's instructions to stay the course until the Baptist Church Pastor told me it was not GOD's will that the then-husband should kill me and the church prayed the man-then-husband who tried to kill me would leave. And he did when I posted the ten commandments on the door post as the Bible said to do. My reason for telling you readers this, is that I saw from the Google stats the post I wrote to encourage the US Military was well liked, and I know from news stories that the US Military is struggling w/ depression and despair that has caused many to choose death but don't do it! When you return to civilian life with or without injuries, the sense of not being needed can be overwhelming, leading to a lost sense of self. But if I can overcome those, so can you! Just think of the depression and despair as the enemy of your soul, because it is. Determine to fight it as effectively as you would fight a physical injury in combat. Be the hero to yourself that you are to others!

You can overcome despair. You can overcome depression. You can overcome suicidal thoughts. You can overcome injuries and disabilities. You can overcome the poverty of being discharged from Military with no job in sight. You can survive! Hold onto life and choose life. It is written, "therefore choose life, that both thou and thou seed may live. " Deuteronomy 30:19c, KJV. See the big picture that yea heaven is the ultimate goal but you don't have to rush to get there. LIVE life! Make a difference to one person every day in some way. Do the best you can even if it is not the "best' the world can do. Stay the course. And when you die on GOD's terms, be at the finish line--the gateway to heaven.

Writing for LIFE

Writing, drawing and painting

is how I redeem the time.

to overcome the sorrow,

of my life,

that's filled with

emotions scattered,

all around

like trash

that fell from

the trash truck.

Writing to redeem

my life

from the trash bin,

is a worthwhile endeavour,

. though hardly a lucrative one.

A writer I am,

. shaped and molded

. by the events of my life,

that were as

unmalleable as an

anvil and hammer

beating the stark metal.

into polished glitter.

When I can't sort

my thoughts into cohesive

words to put on paper,

I draw to focus

my mind on something.

Anything.

Anything that distracts me

from the utter sense

of a wasted life.

A wasted life.

. It's very hard to admit,

that all the dreams of

making the world,

a better place,

. evaporated.

like soap bubbles in the wind.

A world where

babies are born alive,

and gardens are plentiful,

and people are happy.

Where laughter

. and good times,

. are the norm,

and a feeling of

safety in the

love of GOD

just naturally rises,

. like the sun,

until it's bright, golden

and shiny;

and illuminating.

A world with peace

and calm,

where the tiniest,

most helpless child,

is considered

as important

as the greatest King.

That world doesn't exist.

Maybe it never will?

People like me

have tried for centuries

to make a difference,

. to reshape the world

into a paradise.

But alas!

The first paradise

. of Adam and Eve is gone forever.

The primeval yearning

for supernatural beauty

. and conquering the world.

have created travel tours,

and cruises,

and flights to the moon.

I can't do those things right now,

. and so I paint,

and I draw,

. and I write.

To somehow,

record my existence

on earth;

to say, "I was here,

and I did my best,

but my best

was not good enough.

in many ways.

Drawing and painting

is not thought-intensive.

In fact, it sort of

empties the mind

of thoughts.

To make room,

for the blank canvas,

. or sketch paper.

. to create something:

to paint a scene,

or an emotion,

or a person,

or a pretend person,

to create beauty,

in some form.

To make art,

or write words

. that touch the souls

of others,

to communicate.

Also, primeval,

the need to touch

the outstretched hand

. of THE LORD and MASTER.

to feel the charge.

of electricity and power,

. flow from GOD,

and to His created creatures.

Wi-fi is not new.

Prayer to GOD

ascended thru the heavens,

. and back again,

the same way

electricity spurts

from the sky

in thunderstorms.

The supernatural

manifestation of

. The power of GOD,

that what humans

think on earth

is known to GOD

. in heaven.

I paint,

. and draw

. and write,

and therefore I know

. I exist.

My heart has been broken

so many times,

it's like shards of glass,

tiny fragments,

. bits and pieces,

that's impossible

. to put together again.

What's amazing about that?

It's the human condition,

. of being to GOD,

as a one year old is

to an adult; of making wise decisions.

And so we all:

humans, love the wrong person,

. and spend years

picking up the shards But.

There is a GOD,

Only ONE.

JESUS said,

"I and my Father are ONE."

One GOD

Who put Himself

into the form of

a human baby

. to come to earth, in mind.

And HE grew in favor

with GOD and man,

. and told the humans

. how to live.

What to believe. and that HE has

a heavenly home

waiting for all

. who accept

HIS offer.

So.

The moral of the story

is that

this world is transitory

sort of a temporary

existence.

In preparation

for the after-life.

I know my name

. is written

in GOD's Book of LIFE

and that what I do

on this earth

is recorded

in heaven also.

My words

justify me.

And hopefully.

they put

footprints of mine

all over the world,

to cause people to

ask themselves,

"What was I born to do?"

I draw,

and I paint,

to teach the gospel

to promote life,

to share the

gifts of THE SPIRIT

given to me.

And to calm

my raging soul,

and battered brain,

like salve

. to a wound.

for me.

Concussion: a prose written today by Gloria Poole, RN, artist , creator of words that WORK ;update

Concussion

written by Gloria Poole, RN, artist of / in Missouri

"You think that you are strong,

but you are weak",

the song sings on,

with a pleasant voice

and a gentle rebuke,

that reverberates through

my head.

Two steps forward,

one backward>

crash to floor!

One ankle that does not

make certain movements,

has created in me,

a tentative, halting,

lop-sided, wobbly,

way of getting from Point A

to point B.

A perpetual anxiety

that seems to be connected

to the titanium screws

and plate in my leg

to the neurons

in my brain,

in a complicated circuit

of spark across the

synapse that leaps to

my leg, and says "move"

but sometimes,

my leg

cannot seem to understand

the electro-magnetic signal

from my brain.

Then CRASH!

to floor, or sidewalk

with a startling suddenness

that always catches me

off-guard.

The thigh bone's

connected to the

ankle bone,

the childhood song says

and, of course, it's true

but it's also connected

to the brain,

by a network of tiny

threads with electro-magnetic

pulsations, that are,

measurable on an E.E.G.,

that energize the muscles,

that move the leg,

or the arm

or the head.

But trauma!

That blunt force impact

with something that,

does not give way,

that exists like the,

rock of Gibraltar,

while the human body,

soft and pliable,

hurtles into it,

launched by a vehicle

with a careless, wanton driver

first into space,

then into solid mass,

of metal,

or granite

or concrete

that twists and contorts

the tiny threads

in the brain,

So that the electromagnetic

spark is short-circuited,

and shuts itself off,

when the pressure

is too great.

So, that the brain,

becomes like a

blank, white paper,

nothing written on the

instructions!

"TIME-OUT!

it seems to shout

without saying a word

because words become

tangled around

the teeth,

and get lost in

the chaos of the mind

where the spark

couldn't jump the synapse

because the tiny bridge

from one neuron

to another

was broken beyond repair

or simply overloaded

with stimuli, and

the damaged brain

that impacted with

the granite,

or metal

or fist

or head

or knee,

just shuts down,

temporarily

till the too-many stimuli

becomes none

and the brain can rest

and regroup

and re-charge.

So the muscles receive

the spark again,

and react,

and the mind is

not blank,

but active again,

and the words make sense

and are visible in,

the eye of the mind ,

so that order and cohesion,

of mind,

>> spark>>synapse>> muscles, occurs

and words can be formed

by the tongue

working in cooperation

with the palate;

And legs move

and activities resume

and the panic resolves

as the fear,

of nothingness recedes.

Concussion. There's a name

for the broken synapses

and the tangled neurons,

and the blank, white paper

mind that occurs

when the brain

short-circuits

and the human being

experiences a mandatory

TIME-OUT! , called by

the referee of the body:

the brain,

that is the operating system,

and the motherboard

and the electrical circuit box

all rolled into one,.

Soft, gelatinous mass,

cased in hard bone

shell of the skull.

Concussion is the word,

when soft, gelatinous

mass of brain,

slams back

and forth,

inside the hard bony shell

bruising and tearing

the tiny, delicate fibers

of neurons, and

the filtration system

of the cells

that shift fluid,

and salt, glucose and

electrolytes

back and forth

from the cells

to the spaces,

between the cells,

and into the bloodstream.

Even after the physical

injury heals,

and sometimes,

creates new neurons

and new pathways

it remembers

the trauma.

It fears annihilation.

It halts.

Stopping to be

perfectly still

and quiet.

until the chaos clears,

and the brain can sort

the messages again.

But until the human being

whose brain is concussed

has lived through it some,

the terror

of annihilation, LOOMS,

as the brain senses its own confusion,

and distortion of distance,

and eyes that do not work together,

and electro-magnetic impulses,

jamming, because of

atmospheric pressure rising,

and panic rises up like,

a tidal wave,

as the brain searches

for the missing pieces of

synapses, and signals, and

sparks to jump-start itself,

again.

Brain panic is terrifying

because the breathing

and heartbeat are

controlled by the brain also.

And the brain KNOWS,

it is in peril.

I have a concussed brain

and metal in one leg,

a lot of metal

I know of what I write,

an an upclose,

in-your-face-

never-ending-event.

When I reach

the point of exhaustion

my brain makes

that T shape sign

with its invisible hands

and blows its whistle:

TIME-OUT!

And then, I can either

lie down, or continue

but if I continue

my brain will spin like a top,

and my vision will blur

and I will become

as a blank, white paper

for a while.

I have existed beyond,

concussion,

by sheer will

and by faith

that there is GOD!

And HE goes before me,

and HE is the Good Shepherd

and HE knows the way.

Even if I don't.

The Mind of GOD

takes over for me

at times

and I just rest

quietly

until the utter fatigue

drains away,

and suddenly it seems,

as if my brain

is ON again.

For the record, I am a white,single-again, twice divorced, Southern Baptist, born again, Christian woman and the mother of only two "children" who are grown daughters who are named Jennifer and Leigh. I am also a prolife activist, blogger, artist in all mediums; photographer for my own purposes, Registered Nurse with a license in Missouri but before that for most of my life in the state of Georgia, U.S. citizen born in the state of Georgia; University of Georgia alum, Georgia Baptist College of Nursing alum, writer, illustrator, author.
