I, Gloria Poole, drew, painted, signed; and photographed several times and uploaded this sketch of an eagle swooping down to scoop up a fish from the sea, today 16 August, 2014 to illustrate a verse in the Bible. It is acrylics over watercolor and yes, the paper was probably not intended for watercolor [but dry media only] and so I almost ruined it] and is 8 x 11 inches in size.

It is written: "Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom and stretch her wings toward the south? Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. Her young ones also suck up blood and where the slain are, there she is. " Job 39: 26-30, KJV

This scripture verse is one of the many in Job chapters 38 to chapter 41 all verses in which THE ALMIGHTY GOD calls on human Job to repent of his attitude and accusations about GOD; and in which GOD describes all the things only HE can do. I love those scriptures! When you read them you will feel teeny-tiny small HUMAN, finite, very aware of just how-not-powerful you or any other human is, compared to GOD. When you are tempted to accuse GOD or rail against HIM with rantings about how you think GOD owes you something, I urge you to read those chapters in Job.

I am also the Gloria Poole who is a Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri [and before that in state of Georgia for about 26 years] and an artist in all mediums, a poet, writer, blogger, photographer, natural mother of two grown daughters who are Jennifer and Leigh, republican, citizen journo, prolife activist, personhood amendment promoter, University of Georgia alumnus; and U S citizen born in the state of Georgia. words that WORK to overcome

I, Gloria Poole, drew, painted, signed, photographed and uploaded this sketch [as I did for all art on this blog] of the Platte River cranes that I drew, painted in watercolors, partially repainted in acrylics on paper to illustrate a passage of scripture. From having lived life, I know that when the forces that oppose GOD and the believers in GOD are trying to suppress the word of GOD, they are ruthless and they are persistent and it becomes discouraging. However, there are some very powerful scriptures that always remind me that GOD has all power, that GOD sees all, knows all,and that HE provides for His own, and controls all life on earth. I am writing some of those here:

The words of JESUS , Messiah, Saviour, Redeemer that HE provides: "therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment? Behold, the fowls of the air; for they sow not [do not plant crops] neither do they gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? " Matthew 6:25-26,KJV. And more verses to remind you that JESUS overcomes is:

[also the words of JESUS]:" "fear not! I AM the first and the last; I AM He that liveth and was dead; and behold I AM alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." And "he that hath an ear, let him hear what The Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of GOD." Revelations 1:17c,18, and 2:7, KJV.

There are very many scriptures about how GOD provides for those who obey Him and some of those are in Deuteronomy chapter 28, the verses about the blessings of GOD for obedience unto HIM; and also throughout the Bible. But these two passages cover the topic of GOD providing basic needs, and of the promises that JESUS will overcome all HIS enemies [which also overcomes the enemies of HIS believers].

This is a very basic sketch, not intended to be elaborate or precise but only to create a visual image of the "fowls of the air" . I saw the Platte River cranes when I visited Nebraska a few years ago, and I was impressed by their numbers--thousands of them--and by those long spindly legs of theirs that stream behind them when they take flight. I thought of the verses in Matthew about the fowls of the air as I watched them. words that WORK to test relationships

Today, I [Gloria Poole] watched on the Christian Television Network {CTN} a program entitled "Marriage Today." I didn't know such a program existed but just happened to turn on my TV as it was coming on. Anyone who has ever read any of my words knows some of my personal history of having been married twice and divorced twice [but not because of adultery but because of violence against me in the 2nd marriage and indifferent who cares? husband the first marriage; but the outcomes were the same>divorce]. I am an example of what NOT to do in that area so I sat down and watched the program. GOD's perfect plan for all men and women is to be married to opposite sex. I know that because it is written that GOD created man in HIS {GOD's} own image and that HE made them male and female and then told them in verse 28 to 'be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth".For the exact words read it yourself in Genesis chapter one verses 26-28, KJV. I urge you to read it in your Bible and to mark those passages with a highlighter so you know that you know what is the truth of GOD about human sexuality and marriage and can defend your viewpoints to a lost and dying [unsaved, unrepentant, lascivious] world. OK, I took notes on what "Pastor Jimmy " said about how to tell if you are in "inappropriate emotional relationship" at work or anywhere, and he was speaking about married men and women, on the topic of making your marriage impermeable to affairs. So many people spend the bulk of their waking hours away from home and away from their spouses and often in close physical proximity to other men and women for 8 or more hours per day, that immorality in the US is a raging problem leading to divorce in 50% of marriages.

Here are some of the questions anyone who is married but "involved" with an "other" person whether at work or not, should ask themselves to help them see what direction they are headed--if into adultery?

1) Do you keep your "relationship" with the "other" a secret from your spouse?

2) Do you talk more to and with the "other" than you talk too or with your spouse?

3) Do you talk intimately or make suggestive comments or flirt with your "other"?

4) Would you change your words or your behaviour toward your "other" if your spouse was sitting there?

5) Would you feel guilty if your spouse overheard your conversation with your "other" or if someone reported what you said to your spouse?

6) Do you ready yourself--primp, or adjust your tie, or put on lipstick, or any of the grooming things men and women do when they want to look their best, before you greet your "other"?

7) Do your co-workers and or friends know of your "other"?

8) How would your friends or co-workers describe your marriage? And your "relationship" with the "other"?

9) Do you meet the "other" any place where your spouse is not present?

10) Do you touch or hug your "other"?

If your answer is yes to any of these, you are at risk of adultery because before men or women commit adultery, they "turn away" from their spouses and toward "other" person; and so their heart is compromised emotionally and then being humans, their physical desires take over. GOD spoke the intent of HIS heart when HE told Adam and Eve to "be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth" in Genesis 1:28, KJV. Marriage between a man and a woman presents their offspring with a stable, committed home, to nurture the children. Pastor Jimmy said that mens' and womens' needs are different. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that is true, because our chromosones, genes, brains, physical bodies are different from the moment of conception. GOD intended there to be two sexes and only two sexes: male and female, according to verse Genesis 1:27, KJV. Pastor Jimmy said that men need first honor and respect; then sex; then leadership role. And he said women need : emotional connections, non-sexual touching and of course sexual touching too; and security in the home and relationship. And the pastor on that program said that these needs [and physical bodies] are designed by GOD to complement each other. If you know terms of positive and negative poles of electrical current, or male or female adapters to anything, you have a pretty good analogy of the male:female relationship. Men are not designed by GOD to be sexual with other men. Nor are women designed by GOD to be sexual with other women.

When people defy GOD's commandments { I consider any words from GOD's mouth directly to the human ear in the form of thou shalt or shalt not to be a commandment, not a suggestion, just as I did when my daddy who was a strict disciplinarian told me to do something. My daddy didn't usually tell any of us [me or my five siblings} to do anything twice. if we didn't do it, we got punished, And though some people like to fool themselves that GOD doesn't punish sinners, they deceive themselves. Clearly GOD does punish sin--it is written all through the Bible in the many records of human suffering for disobedience to GOD; and it is written in Deuteronomy chapter 28, the exact blessings for obedience to GOD and the exact "curses" from GOD for disobedience to GOD. I am Christian, and I also accept the words of JESUS as the words of GOD HIMSELF according to John 10:30, KJV, in which JESUS said HE and The FATHER [GOD] are ONE. JESUS was GOD in the flesh, the Messiah, redeemer prophesied in the Old Testament. JESUS said "if ye love ME, keep My commandments" as written in John14:15, KJV. And HE spoke telling to obey the commandments more than once and it was recorded in Matthew 19:17,22:40,Mark 10:19, ,12:29, Luke 18:20, ;John 14:21, 15:10; I John 5:2. So, my point is JESUS didn't "undo" the commandments. The commandment of GOD that men and women should "be fruitful and multiply" is still the commandment of GOD. But obviously, GOD made one man and one woman and he spoke to them as being together as HE designed them to be, so it was not an "all-inclusive" relationship but one man:one woman.

So, to keep your marriage pure,{ if you have one, I am unmarried/ single again] The Bible says to flee temptation, flee fornication, flee sin in these scriptures: I Corinthians 6:18-20 especially, II Timothy 2:19-22; James 4:7; I Timothy 6:9-12; Jeremiah 48:6; and 49:30, and Psalms 11:1. Don't get "involved" with "other" persons if you have a spouse because it is a sin against GOD that will lead you and all involved in it to much suffering, grief and anguish.

Save the baby humans is the slogan for this Century's civil rights cause.

I write on the PROLIFE topic as a Registered Nurse; but more importantly as a Christian, who believes the words of JESUS to be the gospel truth. JESUS said, " even so, it is not the will of your Father [GOD] in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14, KJV. Also, one of the Commandments of GOD that GOD wrote in stone for Moses to give the Israelites was "thou shalt not kill" as written in Exodus 20:13, and repeated in Deuteronomy. I want you to understand that it is a sin against GOD to abort your babies. And I want you to understand that the sins of abortion and homosexuality will keep you out of heaven if they are not confessed before GOD as sin, and repented of, with a turning away from it, never to do it again approach. {Read Leviticus 18:22, KJv, Romans chapter 1: 18-32, KJV about homosexuality and the death that results from it in verse 32. And read all the prolife scriptures, and the book of Revelation to see who is allowed into heaven.].

The prolife cause has more splintered groups than any cause ever had; yet it has not so far coalesced around the goal of ending abortion as a so-called "right". Abortion is the deliberate premeditated murder of a tiny defenseless human being in the trapped womb of its mother. It's horrible! It's ungodly, horrifying sin. The same people who wouldn't dream of setting a trap to catch an animal and then mutilating it, decapitating it, shredding it, selling its body parts, will out of the same mouth tell you that doing those things to tiny defenseless humans in the trap of the womb is a "right". GOD forbid it should ever be so. IT HAS TO BE ILLEGAL> There can be no splitting hairs. IF the offspring of a HUMAN male and a HUMAN woman is HUMAN [and it's always so, that each species reproduces after itself] then the premeditated murder of that tiny HUMAN in the womb, [or born ] is a sin and it is ALWAYS WRONG. You cannot change the truth of GOD into a lie for your convenience.

Save the baby humans is a motto I began some months ago, when it occurred to me that years ago, the save the baby whales mobilized the entire world to stop whaling for profit. Now it is time to stop the killing of tiny humans for profit [abortionists always get paid] and for any reason. The United States will not succeed as long as its only export is killing via abortionists, ngos sent from US to annihilate the offspring of others, drones to attack and kill innocent people. It is unamerican, it is a sin and it is a a sin that GOD will not wink-wink at--read the Bible. I take my authority from the King James Holy Bible, and the U S Constitution and the First Amendment specifically, as a natural born U S citizen born in the state of Georgia.

The tide is turning. A poll I read the other day said 52% of Americans think abortion has to end. The P.U.S.H** for change is rising up on college campuses everywhere, as students see the medical images of the tiny humans in the womb, and as they see the "truth trucks" with photos of aborted babies, that are gruesome --yes; but if they are too gruesome to view, how can abortion be "legal'?

I quote from news sent to my inbox to help publicize: "Last night, Wisconsin Congressman and former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan energized pro-life advocates with a rousing speech against abortion that provided hope for ending the travesty someday.

In his speech at the Susan B. Anthony List gala, Ryan urged pro-lifers to be active in the battle to change hearts and minds — setting up political change down the road" and also: "He urged pro-life advocates to never abandon the cause of life or accept a political truce on the issue of abortion and protecting unborn children under law." And also: "And you’re making headway: A majority of the country now believes abortion should be illegal in some or all cases. And young people are among our most passionate supporters." ..." Many of us are pro-life because of our faith. We believe every person is made in the image of God. So every life is precious—and worthy of protection. But if we want to appeal to the broadest audience, we need to use every tool at our disposal. We can’t just make arguments based on faith. We also need to make arguments based on reason. And if we deny the right to life, we deny the principle of equality—and with it, our belief in self-government.

The Declaration of Independence says “all men are created equal.” It rejects the old notion that some are born to rule—and others to obey. In fact, it calls this truth self-evident. It’s obvious to anyone with ears to hear and eyes to see. We each have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And no one can deprive us of those rights without our consent. Consent is the source of power, not wealth or ancestry. Government isn’t the master of the people. It’s their servant. So we must stay vigilant—because when government assaults any of our rights, all of them are endangered. And once some people can deny the rights of others, we’re no longer equal. The foundation of our government is weakened. The rights of the people are imperiled. Anyone can understand that danger." Yet, remember that an abortion gives no "due process' to the preborn humans. The ungodly, sordid fake* law of Roe v Wade does not allow the voice from the womb to cry out to the Judge/executioner [in those courtrooms where the Judges are in the pocket of Planned Parenthood] to save the life. It does noes not allow tiny humans to be classified by the U S Congress as HUMAN even though all medical fact and reason/logic says they have to be humans if they are produced by a human man and a human woman. The horror of Roe v Wade is dawning on the nation, and collectively, we the people are repulsed by it. The law has to change. Abortion has to be illegal. Just as slavery was rendered illegal forevermore by President Abraham Lincoln by the stroke of his pen, signing the act of Congress, so abortion must be illegal--by act of Congress signed into law by whoever is President at the time. Obama is public enemy number one of the preborn humans--every deed he has done is to kill more tiny humans in the womb. He's the U S version of Hitler, Stalin, and all the so-called leaders who slaughtered their own people.

Please educate yourself on the issues.
